research

Research is the act of advancing humanity’s collective knowledge by exploring what we do not yet know, fundamentally driven by curiosity and deep personal engagement. Unlike the structured, known-path application of engineering, research occupies the space of uncertainty where the outcome is not guaranteed, demanding that we constantly rethink our computing tools and the very environment in which we create. It is a commitment to learning everything that has come before, only to then push beyond those boundaries to reveal something entirely new.

Idea

To do great research is to be willing to work in the unknown; if you already know exactly what you are doing, you are likely engineering, not researching.

Real research is transformative, changing not only the subject of study but the researcher themselves, moving them from passive observers to active participants in the expansion of what is possible.
